Sasha E. Butler

Sasha E. Butler is the CEO of the Center for Global Alliance and Leadership Expansion. She leverages 20 years of experience advocating for quality education, social change, human rights, and economic development opportunities for women and youth locally and internationally. 

Butler is a highly sought-after consulting specializing in leadership, program, and organizational development, global citizenship education, diversity, equity, and inclusion for schools, businesses, non-governmental agencies, and non-profit organizations. She holds several professional certificates, including Global Education (Harvard University), Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (University of South Florida Miami), and Creative Intelligence (Miami University, Oxford). She is also a certified member of the John Maxwell Team. She provides coaching, seminars, and training on leadership, communications, team building, conflict resolution, public speaking, professional development, and personal and spiritual growth to hundreds of leaders worldwide.  

Butler is a Harvard University Think Tank on Global Education member and has held high-profile volunteer leadership roles with local and international organizations, including the World Council on Intercultural and Global Competence, the National Employment Counseling Association, the International Association of Professional Women, Women's Leadership Institute. In addition, she is the Community Leader for the Howard County AARP Age-Friendly Work and Civic Engagement working group, Co-Leader of the Association of Leadership Professionals Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Affinity Group, and the Facilitator of the Global League of Creative Intelligence Certified Coaches course.

Butler has received numerous awards and recognition for her work and service to the community, including the International Association of Professional Women, the Women's Leadership Development Institute, the Journalist and Writers Foundation, the World Change Summit Group, and numerous schools, universities, and community organizations. She also received Maryland's Top 100 Women nomination, Walden University's international Social Change award, and the Coin of Excellence presented by the United States Army for her commitment to empowering men and women transitioning into civilian life.

Butler holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Manhattanville College, a Master of Science degree in Adult Education & Human Resource Development from Fordham University, and is currently a doctoral candidate for the Doctor in Education in Higher Education and Adult Learning.
